Check out some of the teacher training opportunities coming up in summer 2018 to accelerate your competency and effectiveness.

  • Cloud Institute Curriculum Design Studio: August 6–10 in Rhinebeck, New York. Learn how to design and embed education for sustainability into curricula, assessments and performance tasks without adding class time.
  • EcoRise PD sessions: Multiple dates and locations throughout the U.S. These are offered on a wide range of topics, including the Sustainable Intelligence Curriculum and the Eco-Audit Grant Program, which encourages student innovation through student-facing micro grants.   • STEMhero Professional Development Webinars: Third week of June: "Readying Your Start-of-the-Year Unit: A guide to connecting home and school, data-driven inquiry and NGSS Practices of Science." First week of August: "Data-rich and Culturally Relevant: A participatory workshop on key strategies and methods to ensure Culturally Relevant Pedagogy is a centerpiece of your STEM unit."
