As a project manager with the Center for Green Schools, Carolyn connects green schools advocates around the world with resources and solutions to make local schools more healthy and sustainable places to learn. Sustainability and environmental impact have been common threads throughout her work. Prior to joining USGBC, she worked with Internews’ Earth Journalism Network implementing climate change and biodiversity journalism projects in Southeast Asia, West Africa, and the Pacific Islands. Originally from northern California, Carolyn graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a B.A. in English, and from George Washington University with a Master of Public Administration.
