On the afternoon of Nov. 19, the last day of USGBC’s annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, college and university students gathered at a local design consultancy office in downtown Chicago to reflect on and gear up for the rest of the school year on their respective campuses. More than 50 students from nearly 20 campuses around the country were ushered into the room at gravitytank’s office, surrounded by tackboards, moveable walls, a small army of helpful group leaders and other trappings of the fun, dynamic conversation that would follow.
